What does ORRAR think about the argument for women Priests and Bishops?
Well with regards to the above question, we believe that all religions and faiths should adhere to the idea of equality.
Equality must be encouraged by everyone, especially by those in power.
Many of the Old School religious mentors seem to believe that only men have the right to give religious ideals and services to all however; they forget that without women religion would not be a part of our life.
Our past history shows that in all probability the first religion was the worship of the Mother Goddess and men were enthralled by the feminine.
We also see many instances of the power of women in the bible, for instance Jesus’ mother Mary and with the 13 th Disciple of Mary Magdalene.
Paganism the term used for all those pre-Christian religions all had equality of the sexes. They all had Gods and Goddesses. They saw how important both are to the world and to the Universe as both are needed to bring harmony.
Yes women should look feminine, and men should look masculine, but that does not mean inside they cannot view the opposite.
Many people will find this hard to take in, and that is fine. This is how life should be, not everyone can be the same. Individuality is the key to unlock the Universe and this should be encouraged. Although we should not ignore the fact that women are not inferior or men superior, we are equal.
ORRAR itself does not believe in a world that dictates one sex is superior or inferior to the other, we believe that both sexes are equal, we allow male and female priests.
We believe harmony comes from both, as a united energy.
All those religions for example Anglican and Catholic should now begin to show true faith and give equality to all women. The idea of one being superior to the other is not true faith. God / Goddess would be appalled by the lack of respect given by those who claim to be in touch with their God.
The time has come for all people across the globe to unite to aid women to gain equality in religion as this would truly bring part of Heaven to the Earth.
