A Short Treatise on Sleeping and Dreaming
Sleep is the beginning and the end; it is the everyday Alpha and Omega.
Why do we need sleep?
Sleep is the way for which ancient knowledge can be passed. It has been part of us from the beginning of time and is needed to aid us in our goal to become one with the unknowable. It also aids us in regeneration for our next lessons in life.
All people have different needs when it comes to sleep. Some need a lot and some need very little, in fact there are some people who do not sleep in our sense of the word.
Even though it is something that is necessary for us to achieve our Soul Goals and our Life Goals.
Dreams
Part of our sleeping time is taken up in the way of dreams. Dreamtime is something that all of us partake. It is a way for our soul to contact us with new ideas and help within our life.
Many of our dreams are forgotten when we awaken, so may seem irrelevant, however, these are more likely to be the areas in which our soul has helped us with our quest. In other words we have found the answers we were looking for.
Dreams which we remember when we awake are those areas with which we still need help. Whether this is due to needing more lessons, or whether we have just ignored the help given, depends on the individual. Either way we have not understood or learned the required fields.
Most of our dreams can be remembered by teaching yourself to wake up just after having one, and writing all the details down, while they are still fresh in your mind. Also write down the date and time of the dream as this can be a vital part, when interpreting them.
You will all have noticed many books in libraries and shops which have many different ways of interpreting your dreams, however, always remember that a dream which you have is more often than not to do with YOU so always look at them from your own viewpoint and not someone else’s.
Do though remember that your soul also has a sense of humour, just as your ego based body.
Nightmares and Recurring Dreams
What are nightmares and recurring dreams?
Well recurring dreams have a purpose just like our normal dreams. However, the purpose maybe a situation that is pressing you a lot at that moment in time, or one for which you have tried to forget.
They can also be due to you constantly ignoring the advice given to you by your soul. Because of this your soul tries and tries again to give you the help and advice until it becomes necessary for it to take drastic steps to get the point across. These drastic steps or nightmares, which they have now become, gradually take over your dreams until you either take the advice or the situation gets resolved in another manner.
Meditation
Meditation can be used as an access point to your dreams and your soul. Taught and performed properly it can aid you to achieve your inner lessons which are needed for you in this lifetime to become one again with the unknowable.
Insomnia
There are people out there who suffer from insomnia. This condition though does not mean that because of the lack of sleep they cannot learn the lessons needed in their lifetime. All this condition means is that these people will either have what are termed Daydreams or may need to learn meditation in order to understand their soul’s goals.
Their soul may have also adapted to this condition and have other ways in which it can be of assistance.
