DESCRIPTION OF EVENT:

I was taking my usual route going past the M'cinley's when I saw her. She was a ghastly figure behind M'cinley's private hedge. She was a little girl with dark hair. She peeked her head out at me and said, "Shhhhhh, I'm hiding". I said, "Ok, I wont tell anyone", then she replied, "yes you will, you always did". Then I asked her what her name was, then she said in a voice that I strangely remembered. "Adam, its me". Then she disappeared into thin air. I remembered her from my childhood. When I was 7 years old a girl from my school was brutally murdered by a gang of highschoolers while playing hide and seek with me. I burst into tears because she was my best friend and we promised to share our lives together when we were young.

I was reluctant to share this with anyone for fear that they would think of me as that crazy, overdramatic mailman who saw the little girl. I do not remember the name of the girl yet we were close friends. I feel guilty! for this reason. I didn't even go to the funeral because I had a baseball game. I feel very guilty because I couldn't find her when we played hide and seek. I couldn't find her until it was too late. Then I snapped back to reality and continued my route, knowing I would remember this day for the rest of my life.
