While sitting up in bed. Looking down from a second floor through a screen window out onto the beach. Approximately 25 - 30 ft away.

The ghost looked like a man with facial hair, with a bright green aura surrounding its entire body. As if it was floating through the air but on the ground. It was "floating" right next to a wooden fence. It was on the beach.

There were no clouds or mist or anything out of the ordinary, besides the ghost.

WEATHER CONDITIONS: Clear night, no lights were around it outside and no lights were inside. I believe it was a new moon as well.

IS IT A REGULAR OCCURRENCE: No

INSIDE OR OUTSIDE: I was indoors

TIME: 12.50am

EVENT DATE: 31st July 2000

EVENT LOCATION: Beach House, Connecticut.

DURATION OF EVENT: Only a few seconds.

NUMBER OF WITNESSES: 1 (Myself), even though I was in the room with two other people.

FURTHER INFORMATION: The beach house we were staying in had given me the creeps since I had gotten there from day one. The second day there, I was in the kitchen with no one in the house except myself, and I heard footsteps upstairs and creaking sounds. The next night after that was when I saw the ghost.
