I was about ten years old and I was staying at my grandmothers house in the spare room. I went to bed at the normal time which was 7.30pm. I don't know why but I started feeling uneasy like I was being watched. So did my brother. My nanna was in the kitchen reading her book and having her last cup of tea for the night. She went to bed around nine o'clock. We were both still awake anyway about nine thirty. The room got really cold, it was that cold when you opened your mouth you could see the fog. All of a sudden I felt something sit at the end of my bed, I was too scared to look. As there were no animals inside the house and I could here my nanna snoring. I said to my brother what's at the end of my bed. As he sat up he started screaming. So I sat up and there was a man sitting on the end of my bed. I didn't know grandpa as he died in a car accident when I was about four, five years old. I was never told how he died or what he was wearing that night he died.

He finally got up off the end of my bed and started moving slowly to the door. I remember looking straight at him as he got to the door, he turned back to my brother and me and smiled at us. I noticed something in his right hand they looked like car keys but I can't be sure. As he stood there was a great feeling of anger and sorrow. I have never felt so much emotion before still to this day. The next morning my brother and myself did not know whether to say anything or not as we thought the family would get angry with us. I built up the courage to tell my uncle and he couldn't believe what he was hearing, so he asked my brother and me to describe what we had seen, so we told him. We described my grandfather to a tee, even what he was wearing that night he died. I also told him about the item he had in his hand, I said to my uncle that they looked like car keys. That's when I was told pa was killed in a car accident on the midland highway.
