King Vine: The Real Deal By: Mistress Ravenfyre

Settling in his throne of gold and burgandy, King Vine looks as though he has something to say. You know by now that all the Demonic leaders has something to say, you are just not sure as to what .

With that he begins his explanation as to who he really is. "Well, now that was something wasn't it? shaking his head. "He is always the prankster, one of these days though Furfur will be put in his place. Although I do not know what place that might be. Do you have any ideas? no, I thought not". King Vine is a stately looking creature of the Underworld. You are nearly in awe of what he is showing you.

"Time is limited, not as much as I would have liked, but that is the way that it goes sometimes. I will assure you that I am in fact the true King vine. I govern over 36 Legions of Spirits. My lowest ranking it is said that I am an Earl, but I prefer the distinction of King as that is what I am more known as in the hearts of men and beasts alike." he states flatly.

"Let me see, I am supposed to explain my ranking, duties and attributes, to show you what my common form is. Shall we proceed with that so we can move on? I hear the tapping of the next statesman wanting to see you" he says. "Here now, this is my true form which when I am out and about that those that are lucky enough to lay on eyes on see". He turns into a form of a great lion riding on the back of black stallion. In his hand as a staff he is holding a viper. A mighty sight to behold. You gasp for air at the sight .

Settling down again King Vine tells you of what his duties are. "I am the King that discovers hidden things. There is no place so well thought of that I am not able to locate. Even Witches are not able to hide from me. I am always able to locate those Witches that are in hiding. Wizards have tried to evade me also. To no avail (he laughs loudly at that). Poor, poor beings. They try and try again to hide from me". A true Exorcist has the ability to command me to make great towers and overthrow great stone walls. If the Exorcist needs I will also make the sea waters rough with storms that even Mother Nature would be proud of. The main objective of the Excorist that come to me, which are few as they are not masterful enough, is to command me to share with them my ability to share things of past, present and future."

"So you see I am a great King. Known to be very powerful in all things". But I grow bored of this discussion with you. You seem to want to go onwards in your travels and I do not wish to see your pitiful form here any longer" he states in a matter of fact tone.

"Please, take your leave. I have things to do". King Vine has vanished.

You are left in his room alone. This is different than all the times before. Usually the Demonic ones lead you to the next door for you to enter. Is this King Vine so rude (even for a demon that is) as to leave you alone? What is that you should do? Where do you go? Have you become stuck in this nightmarish place of the Underground. Panic flows over you like the taste of bile rising in your mouth. You look around you. Seeing nothing as there is nothing now. Even the stately room with all the grand fixtures have all disappeared. You are now in a void of darkness. There is no escape and you know this.

Whatever should this mere mortal do?
