Ah, so I see you have ventured in my small part of Hell. I am glad to see that King Asmodeus let you depart. Just between you and I, he is a little long winded when telling his story. Especially, to such a fine listener as you seem to be.

Have we by chance met before? No, you say? Of course not. Your discomfort makes me smile already, mortal.

For all personal information I am President Glasya-Labolas, but you may simply use my other title, Earl Glasya-Labolas. It seems so much more personal and friendly, don't you think?
Some do call me President of Hell, which is my true position. For today we will set aside all formality. Earl Glasya-Labolas it is.

I am the Commander of 36 Legions of Demons here in Hell. My homeland, my paradise. Lovely place, is it not?
During my off times, or as you mortals say "my day job". I am a teacher of liberal arts and sciences. A good teacher I am. I am an accredited writer, author of Bloodshed and Manslaughter. You say you don't remember reading it or seeing it on Ophras Book of the Month list. Yet, you have. Look in your streets, read your papers, look at your local news stories. There is my book. Death by murder and homicides. See, you have read it. I thought as much. I am the inspiration for those that murder. Every good murderer has a good demon behind them. That demon is President Glasya-Labolas. Speaking of homicides, that is my hobby. When I am bored with nothing to do, I simply incite homicides in mortal men.
Fun! Fun! Fun! So entertaining to one such as myself. Seemingly so easy to do with your species, that I thank you!

Being no stranger to psychic abilities, I have many talents. I am afraid that I am no Miss Cleo, but then she is no Glasya-Labolas. She was an inspiration down here. A tale for another time.
Yet I am able to predict the future. I understand the present and the things to come. That is one of my more glorified talents, my understanding.

Since we have a little time to kill, let me tell you your future. (Glasya-Labolas focuses his eyes upon you. The reader should visualize within themselves his penetrating gaze)

You, my new friend will step on a dogs tail. I see the disbelief in your face. As you look around you see no dog here. Careful now, that tail is none other than mine. You have not been seeing me in my normal form. Rules of mortals and demons you know. Let me change that for you. (In a flash of light, his appearence has changed)

 Ah, this is better. The natural me. You are now seeing me in my form which is that of a dog. Remember what you mother always told you about not petting stray dogs, they might just bite. I am a sturdy dog, one that will fight to the end and win. Wait! I have something spectacular to show you. Close your eyes. No peeking. I am ready now. Open your eyes,   look here (pointing at his back), have you ever seen such beautiful wings in your life? They are the wings of a griffin attached to my dog-like body.
If you don't mind my telling you a secret. I am rather hurt by the saying "When pigs fly". I always felt slighted by it not being "When dogs fly" but I have gotten used to it. (Winking at you)

With all that I have told you I do have something that maybe you will be able to clear up for me. I am capable of gaining human minds and their love of friends and enemies, which if they really wish it I will help love come in between them. Why do you think those would call upon a demon to do this for them? Of course, like everything else there is a price set for this service. Another tale, another time.

Now as you can see I have a few hats that I wear. I am Captain, President, teacher, Earl and author. One of the most well rounded demons in higher rankings of Hell.

Mortal, I see you are getting ready to leave my sacred space. Might I ask you a question before your leave?
Have you ever thought about being invisible? Interesting sounding isn't it to be invisible to those around you. This may help you in times of need. This is another talent of mine. The ability to make mortals invisible.
