New Clouded Leopard

A new species of clouded leopard has been discovered in Borneo. The leopard was thought to be the same as others in South-East Asia until a three year study confirmed that the Sunda Clouded Leopard is a different species that split from the main species about a million years ago.
New Bacteria

A previously unknown bacteria that lives on the sea floor in the Gulf of Mexico has been found, due to it eating oil from the BP Deepwater Horizon rig disaster.
