Four Questions on Food For The Soul

From an Atheist

Dear Friends,

When the “Food for the Soul” message was sent out, an atheist responded back with 4 questions that he wanted answered. Out of respect, the name of the person has been left out.   By the grace of God, Minister Taria Dean, a partner with AB4LIFE.com ministry was moved to answer these questions.

It is my prayer that God will open the ears and eyes and softens the hearts of all who struggle with these same questions so that all will be saved. For it is written, “we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.  For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will? (Hebrews 2: 1-4)

Question

(1) How is it possible that an all-loving god is capable of sending helpless humans to an eternity of suffering?  (2) Could you please provide the proof that this Yahweh entity actually exists?   (3) Out of the 10,000 other religions that have and do exist, please provide the method you have employed to show that the religion you have been brainwashed with is the correct one.   (4) Do you acknowledge that infant brainwashing with a mono-theistic theme can take on the mantle in adulthood of instinctive acceptance?

Answer

Bro. Abu,

I pray what I believe the Holy Spirit has given me will serve as powerful truths to give sight to the minds of unbelievers while giving an account of the existence of the Sovereign God.  The four (4) questions from the atheist seemed to all challenge the absolute existence and love of God.  After seeking God, here is the capsulated response supported by His Word...

First of all, there must be a premise [defined as "a general proposition on which the subsequent reasoning rest"] established, which is based on the authority of the Word of God recorded in the Bible.  II Timothy 3:16 states that "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:..."  The established 'premise' is found in Isaiah 55:8 stating, "For my [God] thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord."  This suggests that He [God] does not think nor take action the way we [mankind] think or act.  I Corinthians 2:14 states, "But the 'natural man' receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."  Therefore, it is nearly impossible for the finite (limited capacity) mind of 'mankind' to comprehend, in totality, the sovereign thoughts and ways of the Infinite (limitless capacity) God and Creator of all ("All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made."  John 1:3).

It is impossible for the All-loving God to send "helpless humans to an eternity of suffering."  This is contrary to His nature because "God is Love" (found in I John 4:8).  The Word of God (the scriptures in the Bible inspired by Him) in John 3:16 states, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever 'believeth' in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."  Even with our human minds we can conceive that 'love' always gives.  God's will is that we live, and be spared from an eternity of "suffering."

The key element to anyone's destiny based on the proceeding authoritative scripture, is 'Believe,' which suggests that every person was created with a 'free will', and your decisions [in this instance, to believe or not believe] will determine your destiny.  Since we were created not as 'robots', but ... with a "free will," God gives us 'a choice' to determine our destiny, but His desire is that we choose 'life' and not death as it has been since the beginning of the recorded time of Adam and Eve.  At that time, and as now, He provided the way to live and also a heeded 'warning' to discourage them from choosing the way of death (Genesis 2:16-17).  If he did not care and have provision for life, He would have allowed them to haphazardly fall into the trap of consequences.

Deuteronomy 30:19 states, "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live;".  Notice the statement, "..that both thou and thy seed (offspring) may live..".  As a child we may have been victimized by the "choices" of our parents, grandparents, etc., but there is still an opportunity to be redeemed from that curse (or consequences) at the point of knowledge and accountability as an individual.  II Corinthians states, "If any man [person] be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away and behold ALL things are become new".  So it is our choice to believe or not to believe which will ultimately determine our destiny both here on earth and throughout eternity.  It is not God's will that anyone should perish.  He is long-suffering (one attribute of 'love' as recorded in II Corinthians chapter 13, and is ever waiting for us to make the decision of life by accepting the gift sacrifice of His Son (as stated previously from John 3:16) to redeem us back in right relationship with Him which was interrupted by the 'choice' Adam and Eve made to disobey His voice.  Jesus said as recorded in John 14:6, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me".

This is the ultimate act and proposition of 'love' that you and I have as an opportunity to be put in right relationship with God based on our own 'free will', so that we can receive a new birth of our spirit (to be in union with His Spirit), and be able to discern this indescribable 'love' and 'existence' of God.  You cannot conceive the things of the 'spirit' with the 'mind of the flesh'.  This is what the 'faith' experience is all about for the Christian; 'believing' what the Word of God says and bearing witness to it in your spirit, which releases the manifestation of God's truth into our individual lives.

Receive Jesus Christ today into your heart based on your decision to confess and 'believe' what is written in Romans 10:9-11.  It promises “that if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.”  As your spirit is united with the Holy Spirit, God will reveal the truths to you so that "...your faith [and knowledge] should not stand in the 'wisdom of men', but in the power of God." (Reference I Corinthians 2:5).  This privilege separates all other 'religions' from the 'relationship' Christians have with God through Jesus Christ.

In Jesus' Name...

Minister Taria Dean

Dear Friends,

With these questions answered I pray that you choose life.   Come to Jesus, for He is the Way, the Truth and the Life!  Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat!  Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.  Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy?  Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and your soul will delight in the richest of fare.  Give ear and come to me; hear me, that your soul may live.”  (Isaiah 55: 1-3)  “The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.” (Revelation 22: 17) Come to Jesus it is the best decision that you will every make.

Children of God please join in with this ministry by watering this message with prayer, believing God that He will get the increase.  For, in the Bible Paul said, "I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.  So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.  Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour." (1 Cor 3: 6-7) Please labour with us by prayer and in the field by sending this message out to all.  To God be the Glory!

Sincerely,

Abu Bradley, II
LIFE

Jesus said, "all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28: 18-20) Are you a living example of this great commission? Please visit http://www.ab4life.com; please study Matthew 21: 28-32 & Luke 12: 35-48.  To God be the Glory!
