GODDESS ISIS

The most powerful being in the magick realm for those who believe in Egyptian ways, gods, and goddesses, is the goddess Isis, the only goddess to have power over Ra, and the more devoted wife of Osirus. She is feared by all gods and goddesses, and well, this is one woman you do not want to mess with.

Isis is the first daughter born to Geb, god of Earth, and Nut, goddess of the over changing of the sky. Unlike other Egyptian gods and goddesses, who were very proud and riding on their high horse, Isis spent time with her followers. She helped whenever she thought her services were needed, usually taking to women easilyer. She even taught young brides how to tame their husbands so they could live with them more easily. Many Egyptian believers give credit to Isis for the high literacy rate.

One thing no anthropologist and archeologist will ever be able to deny is Isis served as a form for later female deities. Looking at artifacts that date after the supposed creation of Isis, there are many Isis characteristics in them.

Isis had one sun, Horus, the god of the sun. Her son is not to be confused with the first Horus. Towards the end of Ancient Egyptian history, they start to become the same god in legends and myths, but they are not.

Most Egyptologists worship the ground Ra walks on, and would suck on pig’s infested intestines if Ra said so. In reality, Ra is a very lame god. He does not care for his people, or for the things happening around him. Therefore, when he rules, everyone else suffers and hurts, because as long as he is happy, nothing else matters. Isis can be credited partially to the stability of Ancient Egypt.

Isis has never been forgotten, she did not fade from public eye with the setting sun, and she has always been with us. The Greeks worshipped her, than the Romans, The earliest Christians had Madonna cults and other groups where they called them the shepherds, or serpents, of Isis. She has even been corporate today’s world of black magick. In the U.S., at least, many black magick, occult, and satanic followers cry out to the dark lady. Looking back through this, the dark lady is
translated to Isis; just only her power of Magick is left within her. There is a whole legend here of the myth, which knowing both versions of Isis, they way she reacts seems typical of Isis.

If you plan to take on Isis, make sure you clean up your bad ways. She is very loving of her followers, but she does not put up with crap. In the past week, I’ve had a skin irritation, had a bad cold, and am now dealing with a scandalous cheating boss. She wants to make sure all of her followers move to great heights, she likes the feeling that her followers are great intellectual women and men. Isis is also obsessed with death and resurrection. If you worship Isis it is most likely you will live a long, long, long, long, long life. If you do die, you will only physically leave this earth. If you do die, you will exist in another form on this plane, or Isis needs to spare you as her
servant. Those who follow Isis faithfully have been known to be brought back from flat line.

Unfortunately archeologists haven’t found any spiritual information for followers. If you plan to worship at Isis’s side, you must think intellectually and learn to honor her in your own way. You can go on Google and research her and make a logical educated guess. Just remember, she is a very serious goddess, actually, she is even MORE serious and harsh to guys. You have to take your magick very serious if you take her under, but don’t worry. She is also a mother. She will not beat you for showing weakness; she will take you in your arms and rock you until the time of sadness and despair passes. My suggestion would be not take her in until you have safely made it through your transitional stage. Isis will probably make it ten times harder for you.
